Milestone Marked by U.S. House of Representatives: Passage of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement

Today, the United States House of Representatives passed the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), marking a major milestone for economic engagement in our region.  The next step is passage by the U.S. Senate, which we look forward to seeing soon.  I want to thank our colleagues from Mexico and Canada, without whom we would not have been able to reach this historic moment in our trade relations. Through instruments like the USMCA, we will continue to promote prosperity for the people of our three nations through free, fair, and reciprocal trade.
